Confirmation Team Forming- Our first Confirmation Team meeting will be held on Monday, March 8th at 6:30PM in the 6th grade classroom. We are looking for adults and older youth who would like to join the Confirmation Team and help prepare our youth for the sacrament of Confirmation. Preparation will begin this spring for youth in grades 9th and 10th. If interested in joining the team please call Julie at 736-6754.

Confirmation Class of 2010- All youth in the 9th and 10th grades should have received a letter from Fr. Tom along with a reply card asking of your intentions in joining the Confirmation Class. Please return your reply cards to St. Rose ASAP. Also, if you are a high school youth and did not receive a letter from Fr. Tom and wish to join the class, please call Julie Haney @ 736-6754. The Confirmation Mass will be celebrated at SS Peter and Paul Cathedral on Oct. 13, 2010. Our first Parent/Youth meeting will be held on April 11th at 9:30AM

Youth Mass Scheduled for Next Saturday, March 13th! The next Youth Mass will be held next Saturday, March 13th at the 5PM Mass. Our youth will take part in the different ministries including the music. Please plan to join us! Our monthly youth group gathering will take place in the PLC after this Mass.

Reconciliation Service- Next Sunday, March 14th there will be a Reconciliation Service for grades 6th through 12th beginning at 9:25AM in church.

Shop Angel's Corner in April! If you shop at Angel's Corner Store at 2316 E. Southport Rd. in Indianapolis, during the month of April and mention St. Rose, our parish will receive 10% of the total our parishioners spend there during the month. So if you need to buy gifts for First Communion, Confirmation, Birthdays, Weddings, etc.. please shop during April and mentions St. Rose! J

Donations for Audrey's Kids Appreciated! - Donations for Audrey's kids in West Africa will be collected throughout this school year. Items such as pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, stickers, scissors, colored pencils, etc.. are needed. J Thanks for your generosity! Items can be dropped in the green plastic container by the church offices or the RE Office.

FOUR TWELVE - YOUTH GROUP NEWS

Next Four Twelve Youth Gathering will take place next Saturday, March 13th from 6-8:30PM in the PLC (this is a new date due to scheduling conflicts). Please mark your calendars and plan to bring a friend. If you or your parents would like to help with the meal that night, please call Julie Haney @ 736-6754.

Youth Group Senior Scholarship- This $500 scholarship sponsored by the youth group is open to all high school seniors. Applications for the Youth Group Scholarship can be picked up in the RE Office. An independent committee will be selecting the winner with the focus being on community service. Two letters of recommendation are needed. Forms must be turned in by Sunday, April 25th. We hope all our seniors will apply!
